What BuyWise checks

When you check a product page, BuyWise reads the product section and answers these questions at once. Each result is a finding, marked by color and by how sure it is.

Generic or real brandIs this a white-label item sold under many interchangeable names? QualityHow well-made is it likely to be, judging by brand, specs, materials, warranty and reviews? PriceHow does the price compare with what this usually costs new: suspiciously cheap, fair, or overpriced? DiscountIf the page claims a "was" or "list" price, is it realistic, or is the discount invented? ReviewsDo the ratings and reviews look like they come from real buyers? Pressure tacticsDoes the page use timers, fake scarcity or "people viewing now" to rush you? SellerIs it clear who's selling this, and how returns and contact work?

How to read a result

Green is good news, amber is worth a look, and red is a red flag.
Very likely and likely findings come first. Unsure ones are faded, and they don't count toward the summary at the top.

What it can't do

It can't inspect the physical product. It judges what the page shows.
Price judgments come from general knowledge of what things cost, not a live price feed.
It only checks pages that sell one specific product, not search results or carts.
