Judging quality from a listing
No one can hold the product through a screen, but a listing says a lot about how it's made if you know where to look. BuyWise reads the same signals you would, all at once.
Signs of below-average quality

- No recognizable brand, or a brand with no presence outside the store.
- Little or no warranty, or a warranty with no one to contact.
- Reviews that mention breaking, peeling or failing after a few weeks.
Signs of good quality
- Specific, checkable specs and named materials.
- A brand with a track record and a clear warranty.
- Reviews from people who've used it for months, not days.
"Average" means check the details
Nothing stands out either way. Look at the specs that matter most to you, and read the 1 to 3 star reviews for problems that would affect you.
